The workshop is broken into two parts. Part one is an orientation covering all the details on how to monitor. Part two teaches how to look at butterflies for identification and goes over the markings of the top 25 common species. The entire workshop, covering both parts, will run 2 to 2 1/2 hours.Session 1
Directions to Fermilab Wilson Hall:
There are two entrances into Fermilab - one on the west side from Kirk Road at Pine Street, and one on the east side from Rt. 59 at Batavia Road. You can use either entrance. You will need a photo id to show the security guard. Then tell him you are attending the IBMN butterfly training workshop given by Tom Peterson. Take the main road through Fermilab to the main high rise building, Wilson Hall. Enter the main front doors of Wilson Hall into the atrium. Room 1 North is on the right (west side of the atrium) on that first floor atrium level.
